This is a humble new writing project to share my passion for blockchain with other lovers of social technologies. Published pieces will be experimental as I test the waters, but I will provide a baseline read on the adoption of blockchain technology as I see it today: no adulterants or sensationalism.

Frequency? Semi-regular.

I’ll plan to publish when there are heavy discussions going on in the “crypto” community, or when protocols are changing in some macro sense. Broadly, the target is one published article every six weeks. To help improve understanding of blockchain fundamentals, any articles I publish will link to topics in the Chain Concepts wiki, which is a work-in-progress. My hope is that others can learn from my ongoing journey, so please check back for updates as the blockchain space evolves!

Why write, though? Ok, fair question…

My belief is that Bitcoin is the greatest financial experiment of our time. It is a social, economic, utilitarian tool for humanity. It is open-source money. It is an open network whose data cannot be censored or tampered with. What’s more, it has spawned a techno-monetary ecosystem with dozens of merit-worthy projects and use cases. Expect some high-level analyses on relevant protocols - with a focus on their impact towards adoption - all through the lens of a digital anthropologist.
